This documentation is for version 2 of Mobile Web OSP.
Mobile Web OSP lumps mobile devices into families to deliver three optimized solutions based on shared features for related devices.
- WebKit: iPhone OS, Android-based devices
- Touch: webOS, Opera Mini
- Basic: BlackBerry, feature phones
Note that while webOS has a WebKit browser it doesn't appear, at least in our testing on an emulator, to support all of the necessary features of CSS3 to properly display the WebKit optimized look and feel we have developed.
You may also want to refer to the Modifying Which Devices Belong to What Families page for additional detail.
