"Finding Latitude and Longitude for Your Campus Buildings

Page history last edited by PBworks 12 years, 8 months ago

Warning

This is not the most accurate method for getting latitude and longitude for your campus buildings. I highly recommend that you try working with your facilities group before resorting to this method.

Steps for Finding Latitude and Longitude

  1. Go to http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html
  2. Find your university's town
  3. Switch to satellite view
  4. Find a campus building
  5. Click on it so you should see a blue marker
  6. Click on the blue marker and up should pop the buildings latitude and longitude
  7. Lather, rinse, and repeat 4-6.
